NYC Marathon from a Runner's Point of View

Local Philadelphia photographer Scott Spitzer loves to take pictures, and only "likes" running, but combined the two yesterday when he ran the NYC Marathon yesterday. I asked him why he brought his camera along (just a point and shoot btw), and his response was:

I wanted to share the experience of the run with those that did not run it. I wanted the viewer to be transposed into my shoes, see what I saw and feel the energy and devotion of the fans watching.

That's what photography is all about, and for the record, I "ran" the race in 5hrs 46mins, in my transposed reality. Check out Scott's Photos.
